What’s Your Favorite Sense?
My favorite sense would have to be being able to see things. I love to see nature, see my friends, and just see everything! If I couldn’t see anything, my life would be so different.
I would not know what my friends and family look like, or what they’re wearing. I couldn’t see the screen on my tv or phone, I wouldn’t be able to see nature, and I wouldn’t be able to see where anything was! I wouldn’t even be able to know whats going on! Also I couldn’t read anything! Life would be so boring without the sense of sight. Sight is definitely my favorite sense.
My Inspiration!
My hero is always there for me, through thick and thin. She is truly my inspiration. I’ve always wanted to be just like her. My hero is: My mom.
My mom is my hero because she is always there for me when I need support or help. She also encourages me to make good decisions and to do what’s right. My mom also helped me with my relationship with Christ. She taught me about Him and helped me get saved. She also encourages me to make good grades and try my best at everything I do. Another reason my mom is my hero is because she loves me even when I mess up. She will always be my role model.
My mom is my hero because she inspires me, and helps me when I’m down. I’m super close to my mom and I love her. She is my hero and always will be.
Red, Yellow, & Orange.
I sit down and look at the leaves
They’re changing colors
Right in front of me
Red
Yellow
& Orange
Oh how beautiful
The autumn leaves are
The pinecones feel like needles
Prickling my cold hands
I hear the birds singing
Their lovely tunes
I love to be in nature
It makes me feel
Like an explorer
Exploring the unknow
An Unexpected Surprise!
“Pleaseeeee!” I begged my parents. “No. We don”t think you are ready for the responsibility of your own dog.” my parents scowled. I was so angry and disappointed at the same time. I really wanted that cute little boston terrier, but apparently that wasn’t going to happen any time soon. Everyday for years it felt like I pleaded and pleaded but I still got the same reply I didn’t want which was no. I bet you’ve all felt how I did, heartbroken. I went into my bedroom and thought of what it would be like to have the puppy.
A few weeks later I was relaxing in a comfortable chair watching t.v. when I heard a whimper. I scampered into the hallway to see what the strange noise was. The weird noise was made again and it was coming from my bedroom!! I gulped and ever so slowly opened the door. There it was sitting on my neatly made bed. It was a whiny, teeny tiny, baby boston terrier. The excitement was rushing through me. The black and white puppy was jumping up and down, and so was I! I darted to my bed as fast as fast as a lightning bolt. I picked her up and held her in my arms. I decided her name, Ella. My parents strolled in grinning ear to ear when they saw me clutching her in my shaking arms.“Thank You! Thank You!” I told them. “Your welcome.” They replied. I announced to my parents what the puppy’s name was. They said it was a wonderful name.
Later, after all of the commotion, I fed ella her puppy food. Then I dragged her around the neighborhood for a jog. When we arrived home we were both panting.
This day was absolutely perfect! I had never been so surprised in my whole life. I wish everyday could be like this one. I thought to myself, “Good things come to those who wait.”
Robotics(:
In our G.T. program at our school, we are doing this thing called robotics. We built a robot out of Lego pieces and took it to a competition in Longview. While we were building and programming our robot, we had some problems along the way. We dropped the robot two times and we had problems programming it to do what we wanted. At the competition we got 225 points. Overall it was pretty fun. Lexi Lou(:

At our school we are doing a survival unit. It is about how we would survive, like what we would eat and what we would use to make shelter and clothes. This Animoto Video we made above^ is about how we can use a GPS to find our destination. Thanks For Watching!!(: Lexi Lou(:
